NTFS works only on Windows

Max File Size of 4GB

Fat32 works on Windows & Mac

ExFAT – Extended File Allocation Table

Max Volume Size of 128PB (Petabyte)

Max File Size of 128PB

PB = 1 024TB

ExFAT works on Windows & Mac

HFS+ – Hierarchical File System

Max Volume Size of 8EB (Exabytes)

Max File Size of 8EB

HFS+ Only works on Mac

Able to Compresses files

Google has approximately 15 Exabytes of storage

So what file system works best where?

NTFS is best for your primary windows HDD

Exfat is best for all storage devices

FAT32 is old and outdated

HFS+ is for all your apple product
