Good news for people wanting to buy the PlayStation 5

As difficult as it is to get your hands on a graphics card, the struggle to get your hands on a PS5 isn’t easy either. Well there might be a glimmer of hope as Sony CEO Jim Ryan said that he hopes the situation will become better in the second half of the year.

Ryan added “We see production ramping up over the summer and certainly into the second half of the year, and we would hope to see some sort of return to normality in terms of the balance between supply and demand during that period,”

Sony revealed that 7.8 million PS5 units have been sold, what we cant say is how many of those were bought from horrible scalpers and resold for profit though.

But it doesn’t seem that the chip shortage is going to be over very soon, as Dell CEO said that it doesn’t seem that it will improve for the next 2 years. But hopefully Sony can deliver and also find a way to keep scalpers at bay.

But things are starting to look up at least, as GPUs AIB’s are also now releasing cards for miners specifically and cutting the mining capabilities in half for gaming cards.
