Mind-Blowing Tech at Computex 2025: Gigabyte, Quantum OLEDs, and Desktop AI Supercomputing

Welcome to Computex 2025, where the future of tech is already being unboxed. I’m reporting straight from the Gigabyte AORUS booth, and what I’ve seen so far is nothing short of incredible. From stealthy designs to AI-assisted gaming and even desktop-scale supercomputing — here’s a breakdown of the most jaw-dropping innovations coming your way.

Project Stealth 2.0: Cooler, Smarter, Sleeker
Let's start with a breeze — or rather, a stealth.

Gigabyte's Project Stealth is back and it's more awesome than ever. This successive series boasts:

  • Breathtaking new graphics cards
  • Redesigned motherboards
  • Some of the most clean-looking PC cases we've ever seen to date

It's a step in the right direction to cleaner, more efficient building. Just look at new motherboards — they're lovely and effective, easy to organize cables for and sharp-looking.

Quantum OLED Displays: AI-Fueled, 500Hz, and Cheating-Near

And then there's Quantum OLED screens dominating the spotlight — and Gigabyte pushing the boundaries with their new 500Hz gaming monitor. But refresh rates are no longer the game.

This is what's awesome (and somewhat controversial):

  • 3-year burn-in warranty – finally, OLED fans feel secure.
  • AI-tuned visuals – includes an in-game crosshair for sniping, even when not using a scope.
  • Improved visibility in dark places – AI illuminates dark spots, allowing you to spot enemies more easily.
  • Virtually no motion blur – for ultrasmooth gaming.

Competitive edge, or flat-out cheating? Debate that — but here's one thing for sure, it's bonkers.

NVIDIA Blackwell AI: Supercomputing Coming to Your Desk
And here's the one that jaw-dropped: NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang has finally unveiled Blackwell AI supercomputing for the desktop.

Let that sink in:

  • 1 petaflop of AI computing
  • Nearly the equivalent of 104 RTX 4090s
  • Same architecture that had trained GPT-2 (on 256 of these units!)
  • And you can now have one of those petaflop monsters on your desktop. Want one of your own language models? Just let it run continuously for 256 days.

Yes, you should be freaking out.

Gigabyte Aero X16: Style, Power, and Portable Gameplay
What I have in my hands today: Gigabyte's new Aero X16 — and it is every bit as sexy as it is powerful.

Here's why it's making waves:

  • Thin, slender design
  • Powerful internals like those needed for creative use cases and gaming
  • Battery life like this up to 2–4 hours without having to plug back in — a huge improvement over the typical 30-minute charge on high-end laptops
  • Gaming, editing, or just showing off your skills at the coffee shop – this laptop is like business.

Wrapping Up From Computex 2025
And there you have it: from stealth PC building and AI-capable screens to desktop supercomputing and slim gaming laptops, Gigabyte and NVIDIA are reshaping what is possible in 2025.

That's Stefan from We Do Tech, live at Computex. I spend the time and money going through the tech so you don't have to. Until next time — stay curious, stay stoked, and keep building.
