Samsung’s next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S23 series, has generated plenty of rumors and leaks in recent months. Recently, pictures of what are believed to be dummy units of the Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra were published online. These pictures suggest that Samsung has abandoned the contour cut design of the Galaxy S23 and S23+ in favor of a design more similar to that of the Galaxy S23 Ultra and other recent Samsung phones, including the budget Galaxy A32.
The camera lenses protrude individually on the back, which some may consider to detract from the overall design. The Galaxy S23 Ultra appears largely unchanged from the previous Galaxy S22 Ultra. However, the design of the dummy units differs from previously leaked renders in that they show the SIM slot on the side rather than the bottom. It is unclear which of the leaks are accurate, as the Galaxy S23 series has not yet been officially launched. The series is expected to be announced in early February, with sales rumored to begin on February 17th.
