Huawei Vision Glass Smart Glasses – Micro OLED & 120″ Display

AR Glasses Getting The Push

Huawei has now fully revealed the Vision Glass, a pair of smart glasses that rely on Micro OLED panels to produce large virtual displays for working or watching movies. This technology is similar to the Nreal Air AR, which Nreal launched earlier this year in multiple markets. However, Huawei has not yet confirmed whether it will offer the Vision Glass outside its home market. It may be mid-2023 before Huawei releases the Vision Glass elsewhere.

Specs

Each Micro OLED panel measures 0.49-inches across and outputs at 1,920 x 1,080 pixels for a 4,523 SPR pixel density. The panels output at 60 Hz, cover 90% of the DCI-P3 colour space and 480 nits. Additionally, the Vision Glass provides 41° field-of-view, 53 PPD and an interpupillary distance of 63.5 mm (± 4 mm), all to create up to 120-inch projections. The Huawei Vision Glass is only available in Glossy Black and carries a CNY 2,999 (~US$431) MSRP. However, it will be available for CNY 2,899 (~US$417) when it goes on sale on December 26th.
