[Leaks] Images Of MSI’s “Budget” $200 B760 Tomahawk Motherboard

Pictures of MSI’s upcoming budget-friendly motherboard, the MAG B760 Tomahawk WIFI, have been leaked. This motherboard is expected to offer the same memory compatibility as its predecessor, the MAG B660 Tomahawk, which includes support for DDR4 and DDR5 memory. The MAG B760 Tomahawk features two 8-pin power connectors to power the CPU and a 12+1+1 DUET power stage design. It is ATX-friendly with two PCIe x16 slots and is rumored to have three M.2 PCIe slots hidden under the M.2 heatsinks. The new motherboard will also support TPM 2.0, Windows 11 compatibility, and Lightning Gen5. It is speculated that one or more of the M.2 slots will support the newer PCIe Gen5 connector. The memory on the MAG B760 Tomahawk WIFI will be able to reach DDR5-5333 when overclocked in a single-ranking DIMM Per Channel mode.

There will be two variations of the MAG B760 Tomahawk, one with DDR4 memory support and one with DDR5 memory support. These motherboards are expected to launch with the release of Intel’s 13th Gen Core non-K processors at the beginning of next year. It is worth noting that the B660 variant of the MAG Tomahawk motherboard currently supports both 13th Gen Core Raptor Lake and 12th Gen Alder Lake CPUs, but the B760 variant is expected to be supported for a longer period of time. The price of the MAG B760 Tomahawk is expected to be around $200, though some reports have suggested that Intel B760 motherboards may see a price increase of up to 10%.
