Samsung has brought its new Odyssey Ark gaming screen and the Gaming Hub platform to Selfridges in London. The Samsung Odyssey Ark Gaming Bespoke Simulator, located in the Designer Street Room, allows visitors to test their racing skills in a driving simulator using three 55-inch Odyssey Ark 4K 1000R curved gaming screens connected together.
The screens, which have a 165Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, and 4K resolution, are designed to give the feeling of being inside a racecar cockpit with the ‘Cockpit Mode’ feature, which also enables the screen to rotate, tilt, and pivot. In addition to the simulator, the retail demo station for cloud gaming and the Gaming Hub section on the lower ground floor showcase the Odyssey Ark and Samsung’s latest ultra-high-definition TVs.
The Gaming Hub also offers access to popular Xbox Game Pass titles and new releases with no PC or console requirement. Selfridges is offering an exclusive 10% discount for interested buyers of the Odyssey Ark and will host the immersive gaming experience until January 31, 2023.
