The New Mobile i9-13900HX Destroys Most Desktop CPUs In Geekbench

Intel’s Core i9-13900HX mobile processor has been benchmarked on Geekbench in a Clevo laptop, with impressive results. The processor boasts 24 cores and 32 threads that can reach speeds of up to 5.4 GHz during boost periods. It achieved a single-core score of 2,039 and a multi-core score of 20,943 on the benchmark, outpacing the average single-core score of the desktop Intel Core i9-12900K and the multi-core score of the Ryzen Threadripper 3960X. While the processor’s boost power is expected to be 55 W, its maximum turbo power could reach 157 W or higher, making it more suitable for a portable desktop replacement rather than a fully mobile device.
