1. Cyberpunk NextGen Update
Cyberpunk 2077 was a huge deal when it was released in 2020, a huge hype built up around it and millions of people were disappointed. They have now dropped a major update, one of the most important things on this update is the PS5 and Xbox series update, which has major graphical improvements for the consoles. Other updates include things like, “Taking cover, positioning, reloading, equipping weapons, dodging, blocking, changes to how crowds react, with certain NPCs now willing to get aggressive if you’re out of line, and generally improved reactions to the player. It is a massive update and even includes a free DLC. The update for me on PC was about 43GB.

2. Steamdeck Repairs
A lot of people are very excited about the Steamdeck coming out this month and Valve has made it even a bigger deal now by including iFixit to the party. Last week Valve released CAD files so you can 3D print your own shell for the Steamdeck and has now included iFixit in this process by handling the fixing and part selling of the Steamdeck. Valve wrote on Steam yesterday.”iFixit will be one of the authorized sellers of Steam Deck replacement parts – as well as replacement parts for the Valve Index VR kit,” “We are still hammering out the details, and will be sharing more info on this soon.” Who knows maybe we will be able to build our own Steamdecks soon.

3. Fidelity FX SR on SteamOS
Now that we have talked about Cyberpunk and the Steamdeck we can include them in the next story, as AMD Fidelity FX Super Resolution is now available for both of them. But what makes the technology so impressive on the Steamdeck is that it’s built into the SteamOS itself, so any game you play will have the tech-enabled. Keep in mind that Fidelity FX does have an impact on image quality, The Steamdecks native resolution of 720p means that FSR has even fewer pixels to work with for its upscaling algorithm, but games will have options to enable different sharpening filters that may reduce the effect. At the cost of slightly lower graphics quality, although the battery life will improve.
4. Intel buying Tower
With all the tech companies buying each other out lately, it came as no surprise that Intel is set to acquire Tower semiconductor for $5.4 billion. Tower has high-growth markets such as mobile, automotive, and power. Tower’s expertise in specialty technologies, such as radio frequency power, silicon-germanium, and industrial sensors, extensive IP and electronic design automation partnerships, and established foundry footprint will supply expansive coverage to both Intel and Tower’s customers globally. The global shortage definitely set a lot of wheels rolling in the industry lately.

5. Intel GPU Support 5 Displays
More news from Intel is that the Intel Arc GPUs will support up to 5 displays. The Intel i915 Linux graphics driver that came through a patch recently, showed that a 5th display will be supported for these GPUs. Now in previous photos, the GPUs seemed to only have 4 display ports but, with the introduction of USB4, Intel may use USB-C ports for additional display support. This will be quite cool as NVIDIA GPUs only support 4 displays.
6. Bioshock Movie
Now everyone liked and played Bioshock, it was one of the best-rated and story-driven games probably ever. Now Netflix is partnering with 2K to make a live-action Bioshock movie. There aren’t really any other specific details available but we sure are excited, as Netflix is getting these gaming series and movies just right, take Arcane and the Witcher as examples if you want. The next Bioshock game is currently in development at Cloud Chamber, a studio under the 2K banner that was formed in late 2019.

7. TSMC is behind schedule
TSMC is apparently 3 months behind schedule on their Arizona facility, part of this issue is that Intel is also looking to expand its Arizona facility, which means TSMC has to compete for the same limited resources and talent as its US-based rival. Another factor is the slow recovery of tech supply chains, but the biggest factor is that of government subsidies which is a must for companies investing in new chip manufacturing plants. This whole exercise has an expenditure of $44 billion and will create around 8000 jobs, not to mention improve the global chip shortage.
8. What is going to collide with the moon
I don’t know if some of you have heard that a space X rocket is going to make an impact on the moon. Well, it was mistaken, it’s the Chinese again, why do I always feel like it’s the Chinese rockets that are causing some kind of chaos. Anyway, Bill Gray made a very specific prediction about a moon impact on 4 March 2022. Now he has changed his calculations, the impact will happen a few kilometers away from the original impact spot, he now thinks the “long cylinder, spinning slowly” is not part of SpaceX booster, but belongs to a Chinese rocket sent to the moon in October 2014.
So where is the SpaceX rocket then? Well apparently no one knows, it probably went into a black hole or something.
9. Lenovo Y90 release date
